6th Export Management Research Workshop

Date limite de soumission : 01/12/2023

6th workshop on Export Management, January 12, 2024, ESCE International Business School Paris, OMNES Education

Keynote Speakers, Professor Leonidas Leonidou, University of Cyprus, Professor Matthew Robson

Cardiff UniversityAssociate Editor, Journal of International Marketing

Background
Trading through exports and imports has historically been the predominant method of exchanging goods and services between countries (Aykol, 2018). While international trade can offer growth and development opportunities, it is also fraught with challenges and obstacles. The increasing digitalization (Katsikeas et al., 2019) and the multiplication of external shocks (e.g. the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine conflict) are becoming a standard feature of international business (Ciravegna et al., 2023). There is a consensus that exporting will need to adapt to these complex and turbulent times. Therefore, it is of paramount importance to intensify research in the field of export management.
The annual Export Management workshop aims at bringing together scholars in the field of export management to facilitate the exchange of ideas, knowledge sharing, and networking. It also provides an opportunity for young researchers to present and discuss their work with experienced researchers and practitioners.
