Grenoble Ecole de Management is a leading French business school. The Center for Economic Peace, Mindfulness and Well-being at work is a pioneer research group primarily concerned by understanding and promoting alternative perspectives on business and economics issues, social progress in companies, especially by questioning the place of humans in organizations, and of organizations in societies. The mission of the Center for Economic Peace, Mindfulness and Well-being at work is to contribute to the development of knowledge, practices and training focused on the management of occupational stress, on well-being, on the personal development of managers, on an evolution in management methods and on the understanding of a new industrial model centered on the highest human values and on economic peace in order to promote sustainable and shared value creation.
To do so, the Center favors multi- and trans-disciplinary approaches, and includes for instance researchers coming from a variety of fields such as human resources management, psychology, economics, philosophy, innovation and entrepreneurship, organization theory, leadership, etc.
The post-doc project aims at better understanding of how corporations might achieve their central function: contributing to the common good, and fostering concerns for human and ecological values at the heart of every organization’s management.
The post-doc will thus provide candidates the opportunity to engage with a wide range of topics, depending on their own areas of expertise and interests, and on potential areas of collaboration with the chair members,

Profil recherché / Compétences requises

Candidates must hold a PhD or DBA degree in management, or any other discipline from social sciences, centered on the above topics, and demonstrate an ability to publish peer-reviewed research and share their research in national and international research and practitioners’ networks, particularly in front of the companies which support the center.
A strong interest and previous experience on the following research topics is requested:
• Well-being at work, stress management as individual /collective dynamics;
• The effects of mindfulness in organizations;
• Leadership for social and human development;
• Social progress in companies;
• New and emerging practices of management, and their meaning for employees;
• CSR and business ethics ;
• Political, and geopolitical stakes of economic peace;
• Innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity for renewing business and social practices;
• Ecological and environmental studies;
• Anthropological and social sciences approach to contemporary social problems;
• Legal sciences and their interests for the contribution of Economic Peace
• Sustainable finance
The candidate will demonstrate a strong scientific qualification and enthusiasm to lead projects and publish on the defined topics. The candidate must be able to publish in English. Her or his French level should be such as to allow working on a daily basis in a French speaking context. As a member of the team the candidate will have to contribute to the animation of the life of the Center.

The position is expected to start in September 2019 for a period of one to two years. Gross salary will be, for a full time job, 2307 € on 13 months, including health benefits. Grenoble is a lively and fast-growing city in the Southeast of France, in the Alps with a large student population. It is well connected to Paris and direct flights to other major European cities through Lyon airport (70km).
