Located in the new 22@ district – a hub for innovation, technology and emerging companies – TBS Education has recently opened the doors to its new campus in the heart of dynamic Barcelona. The doors opened in September 2022 to a building spanning more than 8000m2 and 7 floors, doubling the size of our precedent campus in the city, and able to accommodate 1,100 students, as well as our reputed teaching and administrative staff. The Department of Human Resource Management and Business Law of TBS Education is seeking to fill in one faculty position in the field of Human Resource Management, to maintain and develop its reputation for excellence in research and high-quality teaching. The position will be based in Barcelona. The department of Human Resource Management and Business Law brings together 17 faculty members whose recent publications include articles in the following leading journals: Academy of Management Perspectives, Applied Psychology, European Journal of Information Systems, European Management Review, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Review, Human Resource Management, International Journal of Cross-Cultural Management, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour and Research, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of International Management, Journal of Management, Journal of World Business, New Technology, Work and Employment, Organizational Dynamics, Public Administration Review, Revue de Gestion des Ressources Humaines. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Human Resource Management and should possess excellent teaching abilities, as well as the potential to publish in leading academic journals. They may have demonstrated these qualities during their post-doctoral experience and/or during a previous employment. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the teaching of Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior and Team Management, and Corporate Social Responsibility in English and Spanish at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to develop lectures in their field of expertise at the graduate and the executive education levels. Ideal candidates will have defended their PhD in the past five years and have a successful first experience in academia or human resource management.
