La Rochelle Business School (Groupe Sup de Co La Rochelle), founded in 1988, is a major regional player (La Rochelle, Poitou-Charentes – France). The School’s mission is to provide undergraduate, graduate and executive business education, develop knowledge in business and management through research, disseminate results to the academic and professional communities and contribute to the territorial and regional economic future by mobilizing its networks and areas of expertise (sustainable management and tourism).
The School is a member of the ‘Conférence des Grandes Ecoles’. It has an enrollment of 3 200 full-time undergraduate and graduate students, 105 full-time faculty, and offers 5 different programs.
La Rochelle Business School is accredited AACSB, EPAS (Grande Ecole Programme and Bachelor of Business Administration), TedQual (Tourism Management) and AFAQ ISO 9001.

Description du poste

The Finance, Accounting, Cost Management and Information Systems Department invites applications for a full-time assistant or associate professor.
The successful candidate will be able to teach undergraduate and postgraduate level courses in Cost and Control Management, conduct and publish top-quality research in peer reviewed journals and work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Profil recherché / Compétences requises

Candidates must demonstrate research productivity, and have a proven successful track record in teaching. Experience in the use of blended learning for teaching is an advantage. .
The position requires a doctorate in Cost Management (or other related field) and fluency in English (the candidate will teach in English – French is not a requirement). The salary will be commensurate with the candidate´s experience and qualifications and in line with the La Rochelle Business School pay scale which includes incentives for research publications.

Candidates should submit a letter of application, a full curriculum vita (including a description of teaching activities and current research in progress), one or two research papers, evidence of teaching effectiveness, copies of diplomas and at least 2 confidential letters of reference which must be forwarded directly to the School. We encourage candidates to describe their experience using a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives. The selection committee may ask candidates for supplementary information.
