Founded in 1897 and member of the prestigious French Conference des Grandes Ecoles, Montpellier Business School holds the three international accreditations AACSB, EFMD-EQUIS and AMBA.

Ideally located in the South of France near the Mediterranean Sea, Montpellier is one of the most attractive city of France with a population of more than 500,000 people including 110,000 students.

MBS offers Bachelor, Master’s and MSc programmes as well as an Executive MBA and DBA programmes. Our degree programmes enrol approximately 4,000 students each year.

MBS is increasingly well-recognised in both French and international business school rankings. For instance, its flagship Master’s programme has been ranked 59th or better in the Financial Times Masters in Management Rankings for three years. It is ranked 12th on average in the French national rankings.

The quality of MBS research has been demonstrated through the quantity and quality of publications, resulting in a place of 4th in the national ranking of research among French business schools with more than 50 rank 1 publications over the last 3 years.

MBS values are present in its academic publications, the programmes content and the daily life and internal functioning of the School (Diversity Label). 60% of its faculty is international, like a quarter of its students.

MBS would provide support for relocation and integration in French environment for future employees and families. The international atmosphere of MBS - with more than half of its faculty and a quarter of its students being non-French natives - is also helpful. MBS leads the project to building a top-class new campus within the 3 next years.

To pursue its strategy over the five next years, MBS recruits 12 full time positions in its faculty for 2020/21. We are recruiting permanent Teachers & Researchers who will bring innovative pedagogy, passion for research and knowledge sharing in order to enrich the academic quality of our programmes and contribute to the success and reputation of our school.

MBS seeks candidates in all business management fields for full time positions as Assistant, Associate or Full professor. MBS is particularly interested in high quality profiles specialized in Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Digital, Supply Chain, Law, HR and CSR.

Profil recherché / Compétences requises

Only applications with a strong record of publications in internationally recognised academic journals (referenced in the FT50, ABS, CNRS and FNEGE rankings of Peer Reviewed Journals ) will be considered. A promising ‘pipeline’ of prospective publications is also required, especially in the FT50, and rank 1 and 2 CNRS/FNEGE. The ability to generate research funding would be an asset.

Proven teaching experience (including in Executive Education) and good communication skills as well as interest in real life managerial issues and challenges (impact of research) will be also appreciated. Fluency in English is required. Although teaching in French is not required, speaking and/or learning French and/or having a familiarity with French culture is an asset.
