Audencia (www.audencia.com) invites applications for a position as Assistant/Associate Professor in Business Ethics with a specialisation in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. The position is for a full-time, non-fixed term contract and is effective from now.

The new faculty member will join the Department of Organization Studies and Ethics at Audencia. The department consists of 30 core faculty members. The research we undertake and the courses we offer in our department encompass a wide range of topics grouped within the following expertise poles that are interrelated and have an interdisciplinary outlook: Sustainability, CSR and Ethics; Organization Studies; Human Resource Management; Organizational Behavior. The faculty’s recent publications include articles in the following leading journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Business Ethics Quarterly, Business & Society, Journal of Business Ethics, Human Relations, and British Journal of Management among others.
Faculty members are involved in Editorial Boards of top tier international and French journals as well as renowned academic associations. Research active members of our department are supported by distinguished International Affiliated Faculty. Our department is also home to the Positive Impact Chair.
Salary is negotiable and commensurate with potential and experience. There are a number of benefits attached to the contract including an individual research or pedagogical budget, the possibility to apply for additional internal funding opportunities, performance-based bonuses and family medical coverage.
We are looking for applicants specialized in Business Ethics with expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in terms of both teaching and research. A broader interest in the areas of sustainability, business and society and corporate social responsibility would be highly valued. Applicants shall hold a Ph.D., and demonstrate strong teaching skills with experience at graduate, post-graduate and executive education levels in English. The teaching will deal, especially but not exclusively, with the scientific, managerial and ethical issues of big data and artificial intelligence. Demonstrated ability to coordinate educational programmes such as MSc, Master or Bachelor Degree Specializations would be an asset. The candidate must have an established (for Associate level) or promising (for Assistant level) record of high-impact research publications in peer-reviewed international journals. Evidence of attracting research funding is a plus.
